When Nike hosted its first-ever SNKRS Showcase last year — teasing upcoming releases before sneaker leakers had the chance to do so — the Nike Clogposite was one silhouette that stood out. Featured as part of the “Retro Collection,” three colorways of the Clogposite were unveiled — monochromatic makeovers in lime and off-white and a “Chrome” pair. Now, Nike has unveiled the latter alongside a “Black” colorway in anticipation of the slip-on’s return later this year.
While rumored to be utilized in an upcoming Supreme collaboration nearly a year ago, we are still awaiting more info about the duo’s involvement with the silhouette. In the meantime, the Swoosh is gearing up for the Clogposite’s in-line launch by assembling looks in “Chrome” and “Black.” The sneaker-turned-clog take on the Foamposite sees the bulky sneaker transformed into a slip-on that features a slimmer build, notably lowering its height and combining the shell with a neoprene segment. Two tonal Swooshes are set at the lateral of each pair as “Chrome” combines the silver hue with black at the upper and a light blue at the semi-translucent outsole. As for its “Black” rendition, the all-black colorway only features a pop of color with “Metallic Silver” at the midfoot.
At the time of writing, Nike has not specified when the Clogposite will be making its grand return to shelves. Look for these colorways of “Chrome” and “Black” to land on shelves sometime this fall at a price of $140 USD each. Stay tuned for additional updates as more colorways have been teased as well.
