In his own words, Usher “took the world to the A” during his Super Bowl LVIII halftime show performance last night. Besides a concise run-through of hits from his 30-year career, a medley of guest appearances and some impressive footwork, a key part of that journey was Usher’s sneakers — most specifically, the bespoke Air Jordan 4s he tossed on towards the end of his performance.

Created by The Shoe Surgeon, the chromed-out iteration of Michael Jordan‘s fourth signature sneaker featured a metallic silver upper with bright sport blue accents, a custom tongue tag, and, most notably, Usher’s bedazzled “U” logo on the heel in place of a standard Jumpman graphic. Before putting on the custom sneakers (which were paired with a handmade black-and-blue Off-White™ jumpsuit, created especially for the performance), Usher started the performance in a pair of Stan Smith-esque all-white sneakers, then switched to rollerblades for one of the halftime show’s most memorable segments before closing things out with his Air Jordan 4s.

As the pair was made by hand specifically for the performance it won’t be available to the general public, but you can check it out in detail above and relive the entire joyous visual and auditory spectacle on YouTube.
