With Kobe Bryant’s legendary Kobe line with Nike officially returning last year, fans have been treated to an exciting lineup of launches — emphasizing three silhouettes: the Kobe 4, 6 and 8 Protro. While the latter has been dominating headlines throughout 2024, it looks like the Kobe 6 Protro is gearing up for an exciting 2025 as a new rumor from zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files indicates that the silhouette’s previously-teased “Sail” colorway will be arriving on shelves next year.

Spotted on-foot previously via Immanuel Quickley (pictured above) and Vanessa Bryant, the colorway features a color composition of “Sail,” “Black,” “Light Bone,” “White” and “Platinum Violet.” This arrangement sees its signature off-white hue dress a majority of the textured upper as black contrast arrives courtesy of its Swooshes and the tongue’s Kobe logo. Its Nike Zoom-backed sole unit combines white at the midsole and off-white at the court-ready outsole to round out the look.

At the time of writing, Nike Basketball has not disclosed when this “Sail” iteration of the Nike Kobe 6 Protro will be arriving. Stay tuned for updates, including an official reveal of the sneaker, as we’re many months away from its rumored arrival in 2025 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at an expected price of $190 USD.
