Hot off of its 25th anniversary celebration, the Nike Air Max Plus is continuing to make noise through 2024 as it appears in new finishes and styles. A-COLD-WALL* kicked off the new year with a collaboration featuring the silhouette and various colorways have appeared since. Now, Nike has unveiled two new iterations of the design — the football-inspired Air Max Plus Tiempo and the outdoors-ready Air Max Plus Hiker.

Looking closer at the latter, the Air Max Plus has undergone two noticeable changes. The heel now sports a removable pouch while the upper has been raised courtesy of a zip-up shroud that covers the shoe’s lacing system. Appearing first in this “Patina” look, black and orange share space across the new sneaker, creating a worn-in effect at various points, including the midfoot’s Swooshes that sport hints of teal as well. While its sole unit appears in its traditional form, the typically-visible Air bubbles have been covered by the cracked print applied throughout the midsole.

At the time of writing, Nike has not yet disclosed when the Air Max Plus Hiker will make its debut in this “Patina” finish. Stay tuned for updates as we expect the new silhouette to touch down on shelves in the months to come via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $190 USD.
