London-based community platform The Basement is reuniting with New Balance for another stunner, setting a metallic touch on the 1906D model. The duo has previously dropped three collaborative 2002R colorways, igniting their partnership in 2022 with the alfresco “Earth Brown” version. The instant sell-out was followed by equally popular “Moss Green” and “Stone Grey” pairs, revealing an exclusive friends & family “Dark Slate” rendition in early 2023.

The Basement kicks off summertime by remodeling the New Balance 1906D for the first time, featuring a blacked-out base with contrasting grey netting. Angular silver panels line the uppers with lilac-hued New Balance logos and debossed “BSMT” forefoot branding.

Mirrored heel cups add futuristic appeal, while additional co-branded motifs appear on the rears, pull tabs, and tongue badges. Adjustable lace toggles complete the uppers, which are stacked atop traditional 1906D soles with two-toned accents.

Take a first look at The Basement’s latest New Balance collaboration above, and stay tuned for more release information coming soon.
