Update: It’s been over a year and a half since the Three Stripes dropped the adidas YEEZY SLIDE “Flax.” However, its time for the design to make a return as a restock has just been announced. The colorway is set to drop on March 20 at 10am EDT via adidas at a price of $70 USD.

Original Story: While publicly the relationship between Kanye West and adidas looks to be in a rocky place, the Three Stripes have done anything but hold back on its 2022 YEEZY offerings. Between calling out adidas for “blatant copying” and sharing that the YEEZY Day concept was not approved by himself, West has made it clear that he’s not happy with some of the brand’s decisions. However, releases continue to hit shelves with massive demand. Alongside this month’s adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 V2 “Vanta” restock, the adidas YEEZY Slide “Flax” is set to launch.

Standard to the adidas YEEZY Slide, one color outfits the entire look. This time, “Flax” is the shade of choice, operating as a rich brown that is sure to suit any fall wardrobe. The EVA foam injected construction emphasizes a lightweight feel while it maintains durability with its rigid outsole. The one-piece form of the adidas YEEZY Slide is accented with slight grooves in the midsole and footbed with tonal Three Stripes branding, emphasizing its minimalist design.

Look for the adidas YEEZY Slide “Flax” to hit shelves August 22 via adidas and select retailers worldwide, including HBX, at a price of $70 USD.

Elsewhere in the world of footwear, Pharrell is releasing a sequel to the adidas Hu NMD Animal Print, this time in “Blue.”
