For Nike SB, the SB Dunk Low continues to dominate headlines as the division’s most sought-after silhouette. While it’s been making noise via looks like the “City of Love” pack and forthcoming Futura collaboration, a new contender has appeared on the scene for 2024 — the SB Vertebrae. Revealed at the beginning of the year in a “Black/Gum” colorway, it has now appeared in a “Summit White” look.

Serving as the second of the silhouette’s two debut presentations, the “Summit White” iteration offers a combination of white, gray, neon green, “Dark Obsidian” and “Persian Violet” detailing. The aforementioned hues go back and forth across the sneaker, with white and gray occupying a majority of its surface area. A “breaks in fast and breaks down slow,” design is noted by Nike as durability comes courtesy of the double row stitching and generative outsole. Additional tech specs include minimal toe layers and a foam midsole.

At the time of writing, Nike has simply marked both this “Summit White” colorway of the SB Vertebrae, and the previously-revealed “Black/Gum” pair, as “coming soon.” Look for it to officially launch in the coming weeks at a price of $85 USD via Nike and select skate shops and stay tuned for news regarding additional presentations of the new model.
