If it isn’t a completely new shoe, it’s an old one. But sometimes bringing back shoes from the past is exactly what gets people excited – evoking fond memories from previous wearers and bringing on new inspirations for younger generations who maybe never had the originals. So in the vein of nostalgia, PUMA is bringing back its OG Speedcat silhouette.

The shoe from the German sportswear brand first took over in the early 2000s. Although it was crafted as a high-performance racing shoe due to its low-profile rubber sole, the model quickly became a street favorite – donning a range of colors over the years. The shoe boasts a suede upper monochromatic that only sees contrasting shades with the curved PUMA decal and good foil PUMA name and animal logo. The sleekly aerodynamic shoe has a rounded toe that is finished off with the PUMA animal logo.

To mark the comeback, PUMA is tossing up the OG Speedcat in red and black suede colorways – two easy and versatile colorways that are sure to strike the crowd, especially given the current love for low-profile sneakers.
