2024 marks the 30th anniversary of Reebok’s Instapump Fury 94. Despite its age, the sneaker fits comfortably into the modern styles of today’s world thanks to its as unique as ever shape and special pump system. In celebration of this milestone, Reebok connected with POTR — a sub-label of Porter Yoshida & Co. — to outfit the sneaker in a special design.
Presented in primarily-black, a vibrant turquoise blue brings contrast at the toe, heel and collar. Its construction notably features a high-density Cordura ballistic 1000 denier nylon that ensures the same durability POTR and its parent brand are known for. Traditional Reebok branding is visible at the front while the POTR stamp is visible at the left heel in blue, as well as the sockliner. A special carabiner designed by POTR is also included — styled as a wrap-around element at the midfoot — arriving alongside a special custom shoe case in a matching black and turquoise composition.
Release for the POTR x Reebok Instapump Fury 94 began today via Reebok Japan, Porter Yoshida & Co. and select storefronts throughout Japan. Priced at ¥33,000 JPY (approx. $213 USD), many pairs have already flown off of shelves. Stay tuned for release updates, including the possibility of a global launch in the months to come.
