Update: Since we first got a look at what to expect from the Nike SB Dunk Low this Valentine’s Day, Nike hosted its first-ever SNKRS Showcase event — revealing many of 2024’s key releases. Notably, it included the “City of Love” pack, including the previously-discussed “Burgundy Crush”-colored pair. Taking on the Parisian theme for the love-centered holiday, it’s also joined by a design dressed in “Coconut Milk.” The two are expected to release next month via Nike SNKRS and select skate shops at a starting price of $125 USD. For more info about the red colorway, be sure to review our initial updates below.

Update: Halloween is just under a month away and we’re already getting looks at what to expect from Valentine’s Day next year. Following an early preview last week, an on-foot breakdown of the Nike SB Dunk Low “Valentine’s Day” has popped up. As outlined previously, “Burgundy Crush” covers the sneaker with thematic tie-ins courtesy of the tongue, sockliner and color arrangement. Release is likely to go down at some point during February next year via Nike SNKRS and select skate shops at a price of $125 USD.

Original Story: Valentine’s Day has served as one of the sneaker world’s most referenced holidays. Earlier this year, Hypebeast outlined the best Valentine’s Day-themed releases of all time with the Nike SB Dunk Low appearing twice in the top ten. Now, the silhouette has again been prepared for the season of love with a newly-revealed arrangement.

This time around, the SB Dunk Low has been swathed in a “Burgundy Crush” that offers a deep red across its mixed material build. Its nubuck base is accompanied by complementary tones found across the tumbled leather overlays and Swooshes. Thematic notes are included at both the tongue tag and sockliner while the heel and sole unit feature matching burgundy hits.

At the time of writing, Nike has not shared its release plans for its “Valentine’s Day” collection, including this rendition of the SB Dunk Low. Stay tuned for updates including official imagery as we look forward to its likely launch in February of next year via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at an expected price of $125 USD.
