Update: As expected, 2024 is shaping up to be a big year for the recently reintroduced Nike Kobe line as new and familiar looks are landing on shelves each month. Previewed at the end of 2023, 2011’s “Italian Camo” colorway of the Kobe 6 Protro is making a return. Now officially unveiled by the Swoosh, the camouflaged sneaker is set to drop on April 13 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $190 USD. For more info about the pair, be sure to review our initial breakdown below.

Original Story: As we look ahead to 2024, Nike Basketball is ready to unleash the Kobe line once again as a range of releases are said to be debuting next year. Notably, designs such as the Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Philly” are making a return as a mix of re-releases and new designs have been spotted. Considering the Nike Kobe 6 Protro, its much-anticipated “Reverse Grinch” pair just launched and a new colorway for Black History Month is on the way.

Adding to the fun, the “Italian Camo” rendition of the Nike Kobe 6 is making a return for 2024. Originally released in 2011, the pair sports a camouflaged upper that combines black and brown with red branding elements that include the Swooshes on each side, signature detail at the heel and the tongue’s Nike Kobe logo.

We’ve yet to receive word from Nike Basketball regarding the release agenda for the return of the Kobe 6 Protro “Italian Camo.” Stay tuned for updates as we currently expect the pair to be reissued with all of its key elements from 2011 at some point during the beginning of 2024 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $180 USD.
