Nike and Ja Morant continue to expand its offerings for the NBA player’s first signature shoe. Giving a collegiate makeover to the Nike Ja 1, the shoe gives a nod to Murray State University, known for its famous basketball program in Kentucky and where Morant developed his skills.
Paying tribute to his college legacy, the shoe commemorates his time at the college and is seen adorned in Murray State’s school colors. The shoe is dressed in a midnight navy, light laser orange and football grey hues. The base of the shoe is constructed in navy mesh and leather while light laser orange accents hit the Swoosh, Ja Morant emblem on the tongue, heel and parts of the midsole. The football grey heel highlights the rubber outsole, which features the TMT branding to round out the design.
The Nike Ja 1 “Murray State” is now available in select retailers and online at Nike for $120 USD.
