The Nike Air Flightposite is making a return later this year. Set to make a comeback with its “Metallic Gold” colorway, the shoe was originally released in 1999 and later again in 2008. Now, 16 years later, the Eric Avar-crafted show, which was seen sported by NBA legends Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett, is set to make its way to retailers.

Inspired by the human anatomy, the 2024 revival will see the shoe sport its classic black neoprene upper that is complemented by a metallic gold Foamposite shell. With a concealed lacing system only accessible through the full-length zipper, the shoe has a sleek, no-fuss aesthetic. The Swoosh logo is seen on the tongues and back heel tabs while the metallic silver carbon fiber plate sits atop the black rubber outsole to round it all off.

Look out for the Nike Air Flightposite “Metallic Gold” arriving in select retailers and online at Nike for $240 USD this holiday season.
