Luka Dončić just concluded another incredible NBA season with the Dallas Mavericks, boasting a league-high 33.9 points per game while leading his team to a 5th place finish in the much-contested Western Conference. Now, he’s set to take on Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round, starting on April 21. In the meantime, Dončić and Jordan Brand have brought forth the Jordan Luka 3, their latest collaborative signature shoe.

Building off of the success of the Jordan Luka 2, which was officially unveiled last June, the Luka 3 begins by evolving its signature Isoplate — making it both wider at the lateral outrigger and lighter. Its sole also utilizes full-length Cushlon 3.0 foam as the midsole focuses on “accelerating out of off-speed transitions,” bringing balance to lateral and diagonal movement. As for its design, references are made to Dončić’s love for sports cars, as evidenced by subtle details such as its racing tire-inspired traction and the upper’s wavy striations that draw from the flow of high speeds. Each colorway of the new silhouette achieves Tier-2 sustainability, indicating that each shoe features at least 20% recycled material by weight.

Release for the Jordan Luka 3 begins on July 5 in Europe, where the “Midnight Racer” pair will be landing on shelves via Nike and select retailers. After that, the “Photo Finish” colorway will be dropping worldwide on July 16. Look out for Dončić to possibly rock his new signature shoe this postseason and stay tuned for news of additional colorways.
