On the heels of March’s reveal of the ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 Unlimited Pack – with the first release of the pack landing last week in the “Mist/Cream” colorway – ASICS is enlisting seasoned collaborator JJJJound to contribute to the storied silhouette for the pair’s third link-up as a unit.
The latest JJJJound x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 preview arrives roughly seven months after JJJJound’s Justin R. Saunders lifted the veil on the pair’s first-ever footwear collaboration, in the form of the limited edition JJJJound x ASICS GT-2160 sneaker, and three years after the designer’s initial foray into the GEL-KAYANO realm.
Signalling the third collaborative sneaker from JJJJound and ASICS, the JJJJound x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 comes dipped in a sleek silver and white colorway, complemented by subtle co-branded hits and blue accenting. In classic ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 fashion, the shoe comes finished off with supportive, visible GEL-cushioning.
Expect the joints to retail for $180 USD and release via ASICS sometime this August.
