Footpatrol and New Balance have shared a first look at their latest collaboration, featuring a 1906R model that draws design inspiration from X-ray imagery.

The shoe’s design incorporates striking teal blue mesh at the base and TPU heel counter. Additional details include metallic and white accents over the upper and clear tech-runner overlays — complemented by a black tongue, sock liner, and laces. A touch of red is featured at the ABZORB cushioning, providing a bit of pop to the otherwise understated pair. A standout feature of this release is the insole, which showcases X-ray images of the foot, emphasizing the theme.

Other notable design elements include black N Lock lacing at the lateral and white N Lock lacing at the medial sides of the shoe, as well as Y2K-inspired aged outsoles, accented by teal “Nergy” branding.

New Balance and Footpatrol’s 1906R is expected to be released online and in stores, exclusively through Footpatrol on May 31, with retail pricing yet to be announced at the time of writing.
