Since the late Kobe Bryant’s beloved Nike Kobe line officially made its return last year fans have been treated to myriad of Protro (performance retro) releases and previews, with the Nike Kobe 8 Protro as the most commonly spotted silhouette so far. In the past two months we’ve seen various team-oriented colorways of the model appear — ranging from “College Navy” to “Champagne Gold.”

Now, we have a first look at an “Orange/White” iteration of the Kobe 8 Protro. The low-cut style is set to return with its updated build — featuring a React foam midsole, embroidered branding elements and a revised herringbone traction pattern. As for the colorway’s details, it begins with an orange hue across a majority of the upper with white appearing at the Swooshes as well as the tongue and heel branding. From there, an all-white sole unit supports the court-ready sneaker.

At the time of writing, Nike Basketball has not disclosed when this “Orange/White” iteration of the Kobe 8 Protro will be arriving on shelves. Stay tuned for updates, including a closer look at the sneaker, as we currently expect it to release this fall via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $190 USD.
