The Y/Project FW24 lookbook celebrates Glenn Martens‘ 10th anniversary as creative director with a bang — dressing famous faces from Ye and Charli XCX to Mia Khalifa and Tyga in garments both flowing and puffed-up that Martens says drew inspiration from both pleurants (sculptures of mourners that could be found on medieval tombs) and The Name of the Rose, a Middle Ages murder-mystery book.

In short, it’s a visual spectacle, thanks to both the skillfully-crafted clothes and the famous faces wearing them. However, sneaker aficionados were likely more focused on what could be seen down below: a Y/Project x Salomon collaboration, namely the Speedcross 3.

Seen in the above product images, which were exclusively provided to Hypebeast, Y/Project’s take on the Speedcross 3 arrives in both a black colorway with hits of blue, red and yellow that’s in line with the silhouette’s in-your-face trail running heritage and a more muted grey colorway with black and white accents. Martens is known for his skillful draping and twisting of fabrics, which is front and center on the collaboration thanks to an oversized shroud that hangs in front of the co-branded tongue as well as bunched fabric on the upper that disrupts the silhouette’s standard speedy design lines.

Expect the Y/Project x Salomon Speedcross 3 to release alongside the Y/Project FW24 collection later this year. A retail price has yet to be announced.
