At this point, ASICS and Kiko Kostadinov are good friends. The two entities have tossed up a selection of collaborations across ASICS’ GEL-QUANTUM ZIENTZIA, US5-S GEL-QUANTUM KINETIC, GT-2160 and NOVALIS GEL-TEREMOA silhouettes. So it’s clear that the two have been covering their bases. Now the two entities are dipping back into the ASICS GEL-QUANTUM ZIENTZIA for a “Black/Gold” silhouette.

Striking due to tone and style, the new iteration sees the shoe tossed almost completely in black – gracing the mesh upper components, rubber midsole, GEL-QUANTUM LEVITRACK cushion, eye stays, toe cap, and shoelaces. Where the elements of eye-catching gold come into play are the signature side ASICS pattern and the mesh interior. Finishing off the silhouette is a deep camel-colored outsole and co-branded insoles.

Just earlier this month, ASICS and Kiko Kostadinov released a “Knicks” version of the GEL-QUANTUM ZIENTZIA, which saw the NYC basketball team’s signature shades of blue, orange and silver.

Take a look at the clean new colorway in the gallery above. Although a confirmed release date has not been revealed, the ASICS x Kiko Kostadinov GEL-QUANTUM ZIENTZIA “Black/Gold” are set to drop towards the end of this summer for $290 USD. Stay tuned for confirmed release details.
