Across its entire catalog, ASICS has a constant rotation of new shoes and striking colorways – ranging from the calmly neutral to the bold and beautiful. So to keep its beloved fans on their toes, the brand has tossed up its signature GT-2160 shoe in “Seal Grey.”
Since the renewed GT-2160 model launched in the early 2010s, it has been a core model of both the GT-2000 series and the larger ASICS catalog – seeing everyday mainline models and eye-catching collaboration with names like Kiko Kostadinov, BEAMS and more. With the new mainline “Seal Grey” edition, the brand looks to all-year wear due to its versatile, neutral shade.
As the name suggests, the shoe is led by the standout hue of the marine mammals – revealing tones of gray, brown and even an underlying subtle hint of blue. The shoe then appears across the shoe’s toe, eye stays, body webbing and standout ASICS logo. The mesh components of the body are washed in classic black. Finishing off the shoe is an off-white rubber midsole, a black sole, a grey heel component and white shoelaces.
Take a look at the new colorway in the gallery above. Retailing for $120 USD, the “Seal Grey” ASICS GT-2160 is set to launch this month at ASICS.
